The Cutest Baby Ever!

This little munchkin right here can NOT take a bad picture! I see a modeling career in this cute little guys future!  He was every photographers dream! Its not very common for a baby to cooperate as well as he did! And on the plus side, he has the cutest smile in the whole world! Oh and those eyelashes! Sheesh! Really, I was so happy photographing this beautiful bundle of joy!

Lets be honest, I know some very beautiful people! Luckily, they're completely okay with being my muse from time to time! Like Marlen, for instance: her first photoshoot and I think she did fantastic!

Anyhow, I've been noticing that, not only has fashion been very early '90s, but,  so has photography. I'm completely okay with this. I LOVE the grunge theme and think there is a certain edge to it. It will fade out some day but for the moment, lets enjoy the flashback!

A New Camera? I'll say so!

Here is a test shot of my friend, who so graciously let me use her as a practice subject!

So this week I FINALLY got a new camera! The coveted Canon 5D Mark III! It's beautiful and the capabilities it has is amazing! Truly. I feel like I'm learning photography all over again and I could not be any more satisfied  and happy with my decision in purchasing it!

Now, I only bought the body because thats what I budgeted for! (cameras and lenses are expensive--google it) Im hoping within the next few months I can purchase the 50mm 1.2 Canon L series lens. It beautiful and I think it will compliment this camera nicely. But for the moment, my 50mm 1.8 Canon lens will suffice.

A Moab Love Affair

How cute is this couple? Really. I had such a blast photographing their engagement portraits in The Arches National Park. They also did an awesome job on that tee-pee! They made my job so easy!
